Around the world, the Global Green Road Corridors (GGRC) initiative aims to accelerate zero-emission trucks, buses, and infrastructure in support of job growth, sustainable and strong local economies, healthier air, energy resilience, and a decarbonized freight and transport future.

The GGRC action accelerator event on Monday, October 20 spotlights the Poland-Germany Zero-Emission Road Freight Corridor, which covers two major freight routes in Poland: the A2 motorway (Warsaw–Poznań–Łódź) extending to Berlin, and the A4 motorway (Krakow–Katowice–Wroclaw to the German border). Together, they represent nearly 1,000 km of major freight corridors.

This corridor is led by Smart Freight Centre (SFC), PragmaCharge and The Polish New Mobility Association (PSNM), and focuses on deploying infrastructure to accelerate long-haul electric truck adoption, advance the path to cost parity, and demonstrate the impact of zero-emission fleets in Poland and Germany – Europe’s largest road-freight markets.
