The ambition is clear: increase the share of electricity in final energy consumption to 35% by 2035. Now it is time to turn that ambition into action on the road.
As countries prepare for COP31, this roundtable will spotlight Global Green Road Corridors as a practical way to accelerate zero-emission freight—connecting electric trucks with charging infrastructure, renewable energy, investment, and supportive policies.
Building on momentum from Bonn and London, governments, industry, financiers, and international organizations will explore how leading corridors can scale, unlock new commitments, and help make clean freight a core part of the COP31 Action Agenda.

Roundtable Objectives:
- Catalyse new corridor commitments — Advance government engagement in corridor development & explore opportunities to expand the GGRC network
- Strengthen NDC implementation — Demonstrate the value of integrating freight decarbonization and corridor development into NDC revision processes.
- Showcase Implementation Models — Highlight progress and lessons learned from corridors already in development.
- Build momentum toward COP31 — Ensure the advancement of clean heavy-duty transport and corridors are priorities coming out of COP31

Green Corridors in Action: Global Lessons and the U.S.–Canada Border

Building on ongoing work by Catalyst Mobility and its partners, the event will convene leaders from government, industry, and NGOs for a grounded, solutions-oriented dialogue focused on implementation and scaling.
The event will feature a set of corridors including I-95 (East Coast US), Highway 20 (Quebec) and the e-Dutra corridor in Brazil as leading examples demonstrating how coordinated planning, stakeholder alignment, and investment in zero-emission freight infrastructure can accelerate market transformation. Speakers will discuss how green corridors are delivering emission reductions and economic growth while illuminating practical pathways for global replication.
The event will explore how greater alignment on infrastructure, payment systems, and technical standards can advance zero-emission freight between Québec and the U.S. Northeast.
