ZeMaq Electric (ZeMaq Chile SpA Ñ the name stands for “Zero Emisiones Maquinaria”) is a Santiago-based company that takes out-of-service industrial and mining machinery and refabricates it into new-generation, 100% electric, zero-emission equipment under the ZeMaq brand. Rather than a simple repair or conversion, the company restores the base asset to like-new condition, replaces the diesel powertrain with an electric one, and integrates the systems using its proprietary “ZECore” technology, serving mining, construction, forestry and other heavy industries. It describes itself as Chile’s first OEM dedicated to the electric refabrication of off-road machinery.
