Be part of a landmark moment in North American freight decarbonization.

You are invited to attend the official launch of the Baja California to British Columbia (BC2BC) Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicle Corridor, a new tri-national initiative to advance zero-emission freight transportation across the West Coast. This event will convene leadership from State and Provincial Departments of Transportation in California, Oregon, Washington, Baja California, and British Columbia to formally announce a coordinated, five-jurisdiction effort to develop a connected, cross-border charging corridor spanning the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

The initiative will focus on aligning and accelerating planning, deployment and harmonization of infrastructure across jurisdictions to enable a continuous zero-emission freight network along the West Coast I-5 corridor.

This event will feature:

  • Expert panels highlighting government and private sector efforts to advance planning and coordination of technical and operational standards for zero-emission freight corridor development.
  • The official launch of a tri-national, five-state effort to deploy infrastructure along Interstate-5, connecting British Columbia to Baja California.
  • An opportunity to get up close to some of the latest zero-emission heavy-duty trucks in operation today.

The I-5 Corridor is a joint effort led by CALSTART and UC Davis as a part of the Global Green Road Corridors Initiative here.
