This year, the CEM community and CEM members will head to Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, for the CEM15-MI9 joint ministerial meetings. Governments, international organizations, private sector stakeholders, academics, and many others will join to turn clean energy ambition into clean energy action!
The four-day event features high-level plenaries, roundtable side events, and a special celebration of the CEM’s 15th anniversary. Together, we will identify and advance practical actions for clean energy so that we can secure a net-zero future for citizens around the world.
High-level Side Event: Powering Sustainable Growth with Zero-Emission Truck Corridors
In partnership with the CEM Electric Vehicle Initiative, Drive to Zero will join colleagues from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the International Council on Clean Transportation, the United Nations Environment Programme, and the Government of the Netherlands to host Powering Sustainable Growth with Zero-Emission Truck Corridors. During this event, we’ll showcase concrete and continuing progress in the ZE transition resulting from increased charging infrastructure for ZE-MHDVs, particularly within Global Green Road Corridors. Attendees will hear tangible, practical insights that will empower both the Global North and the Global South to transform key commercial transport routes to green corridors. In addition, special announcements will be made to celebrate key milestones in the pursuit of this mission. [02 October | 011:30 AM-12:30 PM BRT]
