New data tracks growth of zero-emission truck and bus model availability in key global markets in midst of economic, supply chain challenges brought on by COVID  

Experts, innovation leaders weigh in on new technologies, model availability, fleet needs

PASADENA, Calif. – CALSTART’s Global Commercial Vehicle Drive to Zero program and campaign (Drive to ZeroTM) will unveil new data tracking key specs and the growth of new zero-emission truck and bus model availability in the midst of economic uncertainty, strained supply chains and an evolving transport sector – all brought on by the COVID pandemic. Clean transportation expert CALSTART’s Drive to Zero – supported by manufacturing innovators, Scania and BYD, as well as global fleet DHL – will unveil the new data, forecasting and analysis in an online public briefing.

Drive to Zero will also unveil a newly updated version of its Zero-Emission Technology Inventory (ZETI), an interactive online tool that tracks the growth of the zero-emission commercial vehicles globally, as measured by model availability. ZETI is a first-of-its kind living tool that establishes a current and shared knowledge base for worldwide commercially available offerings of zero-emission trucks and buses.
