CALSTART Drive to Zero Europe Director Sita Holtslag will be a featured expert at the University of California, Davis Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS-Davis) conference policy panel, “Next steps for EU and national level policy, and international cooperation.” The invitation-only event will launch the UC Davis trans-Atlantic ETERC, focused on sustainable transportation policy in Europe, as it relates to California and the United States.
This two-day conference (March 15-16, 2023) in Brussels will address the challenges of climate change in the context of energy security, environmental justice, and economics, and how these influence transportation investments and choices. The conference will cover road transportation, aviation, and maritime transportation at the EU and member-state policy levels, with links to international policymaking, especially California.
