New York Times: How VW’s Diesel Settlement Is Changing Fleets, From Schools to Seaports

A scandal led to a $2.9 billion trust fund for states to put cleaner vehicles on their roads. A lot of the money has gone to more diesel vehicles. Advocates of clean energy want more of the Volkswagen settlement money to go toward projects like this new electric school bus in Beverly, Mass.
