This month’s Clean Commercial Transportation Update discussed the California Energy Commission’s new Energy Infrastructure Incentives for Zero-Emission Commercial Vehicles (EnergIIZE). The EnergIIZE project is intentionally designed to support cleaner air in the most impacted communities from transportation-related pollution. With $50 million in funding from the California Energy Commission, CALSTART will help to implement the EnergIIZE program by helping where infrastructure is needed the most. We also heard from Emily Conway, who discussed the Frito Lay Modesto project and their deployment of the different types of zero-emission vehicles and equipment.
